Kazra

Kazra is a psychedelic electro-pop group blending hypnotic synths, infectious melodies, and high-energy live performance. Formed by Xavier Froger (vocals/guitar), Pirapong “Pipo” Dick (keys/guitar), and Scott Ovens (DJ), the group met whilst attending international schools in Bangkok. All three members have over a decade of experience as producers making them one of the city’s most exciting live electronic acts. Drawing influence from Tame Impala, Daft Punk, and Radiohead, Kazra’s sound fuses the moodiness of psychedelia with the pulse of modern electronic music.

Their debut album Never Think Again introduced their signature mix of lush sound design, moody atmospheres, and soaring pop hooks, earning them features in regional zines like The Cosmos and international placements on Apple Music’s “New Music Daily” and “Alt Pop” playlists. On stage, Kazra have built a reputation for dynamic, immersive sets—recently supporting acclaimed artists like Alec Orachi and Rhymekhamhaeng, and sharing bills with scene staples including Lepyutin’s Zeedox, WAVS artists, and SEKI.

Now performing as a streamlined three-piece, Kazra delivers high-BPM grooves, bold transitions, and the kind of energy that gets people moving. Their electrifying hybrid live experience offers audiences the energy of a DJ set with the emotional depth of a live show. After dominating the stage at mainstays of the Bangkok independent scene like Marshall Livehouse, Speakerbox, Noise House, and Jam, Kazra is now looking forward to the future, with new singles in the work, shows planned around the country and many collaborations. They have their eye on tours and festivals in the SEA-Oceanic region that will take their band to the next level.
